SaaS Vendors Adopting FOCUS

SaaS vendors are just beginning to adopt FOCUS™ for their platforms. Version 1.2 of FOCUS – coming in June 2025 – will map SaaS billing constructs to existing FOCUS Columns and introduce new columns that are specific to SaaS needs.

What does “adoption” mean?

For SaaS vendors (that are not FinOps tools), FOCUS adoption means they are able to generate cost and usage billing data for their customers in the FOCUS format.

The following SaaS vendors indicated to the FinOps Foundation that they have adopted FOCUS.

Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 FOCUS billing data is available to customers who have a Microsoft Customer Agreement (MCA) contract. For those customers, this data is included in the Microsoft Azure FOCUS data export.
